a ewe and two lambs

A mother ewe and her two lambs came by the other day.These little lambs are a couple of weeks old.
Already they are quite sturdy.
They will stay close to their mother for a while yet.
And she will stay close to them.
Gradually they will become more independent, but even as they get older they'll stay connected.

    How precious! Thanks for all your wonderful posts and pictures. I always look forward to them. They help me to briefly "get away" from life in NYC.

    Anne, although I live in the midwest and around plenty of farmland, I honestly don't believe I've ever seen a sheep that looks this fluffy and magnificent. Thanks for sharing these amazing pics.
