time to celebrate

I'm so glad to have completed the history of the lighthouse and the island. It's ready to send off to the folks at The Nova Scotia Museum, who so kindly granted me research funds for the project a little over a year ago.  I hope I'll be able to share it more widely eventually, in some format or another. But for now, it's good to be finished.

  1. Hopefully your work on the history of the island and lighthouse will reach publication- I would be interested in reading it. Your husband's book was fascinating on the island and your time there. Is anyone living there now or does your house sit empty? Do you ever see yourselves going back?

  2. Forrest, Thanks for writing. I'm glad you liked Greg's book! The house sits empty again, and we won't be going back to the island -- but we had a pretty amazing time there.
